We support students and families with a full range of services that make school days smoother, healthier, and more enriching—from free meals and aftercare to academic support, transportation, and family resources.
Before & After School Care
Our extended day options help families manage busy schedules with peace of mind:
- Free aftercare provided from 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM Mon-Fri for qualifying families
- Day care transportation partnerships with local providers including Jump at the Sun, Little Peoples Palace, Child Time, Dare to Dream, Precious Angels, Little Heart, Helping Hands, and Horizon South
Counseling
Students have access to counseling and emotional support services through an on-staff counselor and partnerships with Kids Thrive and other mental health service providers.
Family Resources
We offer a Community Closet stocked with coats, clothing, and toiletry items available for all Lorain Prep students and families.
Food Services
Nutritious meals are served daily, with free breakfast and lunch available to all enrolled students.
Health & Dental
On-site health services help students stay healthy and ready to learn:
- Mobile Dentist visits throughout the year
- Full-time nurse aide on campus
Tutoring & Summer Programs
We provide targeted academic support during the school year and summer:
- In-school tutoring available January–March for all students
- Summer programs including Camp Invention, Third Grade Reading Intensive, General Summer Program, and Kindergarten Readiness Camps
Transportation
Safe, reliable yellow bus transportation is provided for all students living in Lorain or Clearview. Supplemental transportation is available for families living within a two-mile radius of campus.
